Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Escape Life Inc, operating LazyFans™ (“LazyFans”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use LazyFans, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the mobile apps, and every account on the platform, whether you are a fan or a creator.
1. What we collect
Account data: the email address you register with, your username and display name, your date of birth, and — if you provide one — your phone number. Creators additionally provide the identity and tax details described in the KYC & Age Verification Policy.
Content and activity: the posts, messages, photos, videos and voice notes you create or send, who you follow and subscribe to, what you unlock, and the comments and reactions you leave.
Payment data: purchases are processed by our payment providers. We receive a record of the transaction — amount, currency, time, and the last four digits and brand of the instrument — and never the full card number.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in the Cookie Policy.
2. Why we use it
To operate the service — delivering your feed, routing your messages, processing payments, and paying creators out.
To keep the platform safe — verifying that every account holder is an adult, detecting fraud and chargeback abuse, enforcing the Community Guidelines, and responding to reports and legal requests.
To improve the service — understanding which features are used, diagnosing errors, and testing changes.
To communicate with you — service notices, security alerts, and the notifications you have not switched off in Settings.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: hosting and content delivery, payment processing, age and identity verification, email delivery, and analytics.
Other users, to the extent you choose: your public profile and posts are visible to the audience you publish them to, and a creator you subscribe to can see that you are a subscriber.
Law enforcement and regulators where we are legally required to respond, and to protect the rights or safety of any person.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account it is retained for seven days so that you can restore it, after which it is deleted.
Some records are kept longer where the law requires it: transaction records for tax and accounting, and creator age-verification records for the period set out in 18 U.S.C. §2257.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
You can exercise most of these directly in Settings. For anything else, contact privacy@lazyfans.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law allows.
